Health Class Definitions

Health Class is the category you are assigned by the insurance company based on
several factors obtained from your health exam. These factors include your family's
disease history, your cholesterol and blood pressure levels, your height and weight,
whether or not you smoke, and sometimes even your hobbies.

If you are in perfect health, don't use tobacco, your height and weight correspond to
the Preferred "Better" category in the *build chart below, and have little or no history
of disease, choose Preferred "Better". If you don't exactly fall into the Preferred
"Better" category, but come close, choose Preferred. All others please choose
Standard.

If you smoke, many times your rate for life insurance will be greater than if your were
a nonsmoker. If you are in good health and your weight is close to or lower than the
Preferred Smoker column in the build chart below, select Preferred Smoker.
Otherwise, please choose Standard Smoker.

If you are ever confused with this process, please don't hesitate to call our licensed
online specialists. They will be glad to help you.

*Please note that this build chart is intended to help you estimate your health class. It may not be the
exact build chart used by the insurance company.
